do you care where your work is hosted?

I've always asked permission to use tiles and quests for site purposes, but one day I noticed that no one ever said no, or refused so I got to wondering... does anyone really care or are they happy to just have a place hosting their file?

Though I don't have a quest of my own (yet), if I did, I would mind if someone posted it without my consent. I'd want to know who was placing my quest up for download.

Yes, I would mind. Not because of possession reasons, but I usually want everyone to have the same version of a quest.
Other than that, you're free to pass the bong to anyone you like. I at least want to be informed of where it's going though.:)

All I ask is that my readme files are not seperated from the original zip archive and that the quest be the most recent version if possible. Also I don't want people putting in gay txts, like "you downloaded this file from retardsite#2343625".

I don't care... unless you post an unpassworded vesion or something. That would not be okay... but more exposure is almost always nice.

Yeah, that's my reasoning too.

Really though, when I make a quest I'll probably only want to put it at a few places: one on a personal website, and another at purezc.com (I love that site! Raichu86 has doen awesome work!) I don' know if I'd want to put it anywhere else.

Let us not forget that most of us still have the original contents of our zips safe at home. I've had a few things of mine copied and placed elsewhere and I was honored! So heck, why not.

I don't mind where anybody puts my work as long as it has my name on it and the download file is unaltered.
