First Release: When Monkeys Attack

K then. This is one of the first midis of mine that I've released in a while, so here it is:

Couldn't think of a title for it, so I tentatively named it When Monkeys Attack. I'm currently juggling between several titles.


BTW, it's barely finished yet. Still a long way to go.

hmm.. well it is an interesting start. Is it written in 3/4 time, or did you just use triplets for the start? i like the end with the random noises better than the start of it..

it parallels some of my early work.. its nice

hmm....
the beginning is 31/8

the end part is 5/4.
Its' actually kind of modeled after Tool's "Schism". Somewhat.

I wrote most of it on guitar, using drop C tuning, most notably SOAD's tuning.


The solos suck, but I suck at solos, so thats not too surprising.
