zelda classic on the laptop

well i am on windows and i downloaded the wondows version but whenever i try to load nothing happens

I haven't installed ZC since before my last HD format, but I'm pretty sure I had it installed on my Dell Inspiron 4000 (which is also a laptop).

Did you make sure you got both the windows support files and the dos support files? Get them both. The windows one has a .dll you need, and the dos ones have quests and such that are needed to run ZC properly(without errors).

Yeah, I downloaded all the right files for my Dad's HP Windows 98 laptop and I haven't had a problem with ZC, it runs great.

I think we need some more info about what you have to be able to help.

If nothing happen, which something did, check allegro.log in notepad and post the results.
