To fast and to slow. PLEASE HELP!!!

There has been loads of threads started about the fact that beta 182 is lightning fast. The answer has always been turn vsync(I think thats it) on, or press F1.
But my beta tester, ImHoney7, is having this problem and another, when the vsync is turned off, it goes too fast. But when its turned on, it goes too slow.
Because of this, she cant play quests and I cant give SI to her to test for bugs.

No you won't have to wait just copy and paste your old cfg file from beta 1.63 into you zc beta 1.82 file.
You might have to open up zquest first too.

I dont have one of those in my ZC(beta163) file

Then get agsetup, then create a .cfg file in an older beta. If you have more than one folder with betas and stuff, getting agsetup isn't much of a problem.

I have got the agsetup file, but how do I make the cfg file with it.:eyebrow:

Try it in a folder that doesn't have an ag.cfg file. Then, go into agsetup, do your biz, save changes, and it should automatically appear when you exit.:)

Dark Nation had chagned the VSync code, you may have a different problem that won't be fixed by a cfg file. I suggested DN make a generic frame limiter and implement that.

Wait until the next beta really. =\ Nothing you can do about the Vsync code not working on that pc. So try another PC or use another version till the next version.

Hehe, I had this problem, F1 solved it but now I can switch from "regular" to "Speedy"!

Playing on super fast mode is FUN!

You missed the point. Vsync makes it super slow for ImHoney7 while not using it makes it super fast.

Edit: I have Windows XP home edition and it seems to be working fine (vsync).

Like I asid, Dark Nation stated before the Vsync code was changed, but it seems issues have popped up and I believe he's changing it back.

I hope he also implements a generic frame limiter.
