Tearjerker Quest

Can someone tell me where the hookshot is and also lv6? This is a great quest. Took me awhile to find things but finally making some headway. :rolleyes:

The hookshot is somewhere in level 7. Level 6 is somwhere along the southern beach area in the main overworld (the one with the cool Peter Gunn theme playing in the background)... I think. It's been a whlie since I played this game, but it's also among one of my favorite quests as well. Come to think of it, I think you need to use the whistle by a lake in that area. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help. Have beat lv7 and now have the hookshot and the wand, but...... can't find the magic book or a better sword. I know I saw the book and sword someplace but have no idea where it was at.

The magic book is back in Level 4. Use the hookshot to reach it. As for a better sword, I think you can find one somewhere in the dark overworld. I think it's under a tombstone.

I have tried this quest several times and I cannot find the sword. Can anyone tell me where it is, or even the boomerang. Thanks

I think the sword was in one of the dungeons to the left, then up.

I've completed all 8 levels but it shows only 7 triforces so I can't do lv9. Is this right? Also I don't seem to have all the items. I have: raft, book, red ring, ladder, key, b. bracelet, mirror shield, big money bag, cross, boots and the master sword. What am I missing? This is one of the best quests I've played. I don't usually get this far in them, but this one really got my attention. Well done!!!

I guess my only advice here is to check all the triforce rooms in each dungeon to see if you missed a triforce piece along the way. I really wished that Captain CRC made more quests because this one was super-creative!

There is a room I cant get to in level eight

I tried bombing do I need another power braclet

That's very possible. Yes, there is a better bracelet in Level 8. I forgot where it was, though.
