View Full Version : My sound card is incompatible with Zelda Classic!

Operating System: Windows 98-Second Edition
Zelda Classic Version: 1.90 Windows

My "VIA AC'97 Audio Controller" sound card, seems to be incompatible with the Zelda Classic program. And I was wondering what sound setup I should use exactly for the card to work. BTW, this sound card works with every other game my PC has. Even an old 1998 game like, Jazz Jackrabbit 2.

It automatically detects the sound card settings. I did try pressing the autodetect button, but it fails. So what should I use, help!

If you run the windows version, and run Zquest prior to running Zelda, it should auto detect the settings. Otherwise you have to bug dark nation to fix up sound code.

Why am I going to buy a new sound card, for 1 game!!!!
That makes no sense!!!
All my other games work!!!
