What version shall I use?

Well, I've been away for a long time. I was curious as to which version of ZQuest I should use to build quests. I read that the formats are gonna change in the next version or something like that so I wanna get the ZC with what's gonna be kept. Suggestions anyone??

Well, if you want to be absolutely sure that the format will continue to be supported, you should go with 1.90. The new builds have tons of new features, though; if you don't want to wait for the next public full release (which may not come for a while), going with 163 is probably best, though not guaranteed.

I was afraid of that. I want to use the new features. Specifically the Layers. Hmmm... are most people using 163 now?

Yes. Also, if you want to play quests the Beta Testers have made, you can download Beta 180 Player, which is only Zelda.exe, so you can't make quests with Build 180, only play quests from Build 180.

Beta Build 163 works fine for me. That's where I'm building my first quest. I' probably won't start my second quest until the full version of 1.92 is released. It makes the sequel more innovative I guess.
