View Full Version : Is it just me, or is the server really misbehaving these days?

I can't view the forums without turning off images, as most pages on the forums stop loading at 30% if images are enabled. I dunno if it's just me... I've got a 24K connection, so that could be why, if the server has a connection time limit. Has anybody else experienced this problem?

My computer used to hang a little before it loaded the pages. Then I removed the virus my computer had. It works fine now.

Since I've been home from school on my DSL connection, the forums have been really fast. I think it's just your connection. sorry :(

Though I had problems zillions of months ago it is fine now. Of course I would suggest upgrading your modem. I though 24k were illegal! :D

I used to have 28.8K dialup and I had similar problems. With DSL now it still goes slow once in a while, but not like before. I used to turn images off too, or else it would take many minutes.

I'm on cable, and it's been acting up for me too. Sometimes the page just stop loading, and other times it keeps refreshing 2 or 3 times a second. :shrug:

Well, it was working for a few minutes, but now I'm back to no images. :shrug:

I guess I'm stuck. :(

I have a very very slight chance of getting ISDN soon... I doubt it will happen, though. Whoever is in control of it is still processing our request one week after we made it.

The sever seems to go slow on me at times. So I guess it is.
