View Full Version : Spider Solitare. The hardest game in the World?

For those of you who don't know, Spider Solitare, or Spider is not very much like solitare, except for the fact you want to get Ace-King collected in descending order. It's also extremely difficult to do with all four suits.

You thoughts, please.

My dad was playing that before I got on. Yeah, it's hard. I only play it with two ranks though.
FYI, it's called solitaire because you play with one person. The game that MS has taught us to call Solitaire is actually called Klondike.

What do you mean by "4 suits"? I use 2 decks and each has all 4 suits.

On the computer you have the option of 3 difficulties:
Easy (Suits don't matter)
Medium (Colors matter)
Hard (Suits matter)
On easy, you only have spades. On Medium, it's spades and diamonds.

Oh in that case I only play with all 4 suits. I have a version in the PC where I can go back until even the beginning. I keep shuffling into I get one that look's reasonable than I keep going until I win.

yeah.. its a real bitch.. i've only beaten the 2 suit one once, but i haven't really attempted the 4 suit thing yet.

I've always called it solitaire. Even before I ever played it on a PC. But I've heard several people call it Klondike before.

ok.. after 4 days of playing, here are the stats for me

Level 2 -

Score - 1176
Wins - 15
Losses - 93
15%


Level 3 -

Score - 1124
Wins - 1
Losses - 22
4%

Yes, i beat the hard version once.. i dont' play it anymore because i enjoy beating the middle version - try beating a score of 1176! 124 seems like a lot of moves until you try to match it

FYI, it's called solitaire because you play with one person.

Heh, I'm gonna become rich with my new franchise: Online Solitaire.

That game is HARD! I can beat easy really easy, and medium is hard, but beating 4 suits (without undoing) is nearly impossible!

I could never spend that much time with a card game. :shrug: It just starts to bore me.

By the way, Kirbypuff's post was the 44444th post in General Gaming Discusion. ;)
