how do u make caves?

how do YOU make caves in you quest? im new to this stuff so can anyone help me?:D

Okay, you have two ways to make caves. The first method is simple, and is used in the first quest. Bascially, the first thing you do is check if both the level number is set at 0, and the map type is "overworld". Both can be changed in the Dungeon Map editor. The second step is to make sure you have a cave drawn on screen 80. Then, go to the screen in which you want to put a cave. There are 2 or 3 things you need to fill out first. First of all, select which type of cave you want. Will the cave be information, a shop, or a special item? There are a lot to chose from. Second, chose the person you want to be in the cave. If you want nobody to be inside, choose the fire. Then you select the message string and it should work. A common problem people have is that they assume that you need to set a warp for it to work. You do not need to even touch the warp data for this cave method to work.

The second method is sort of the same, but it involves making a warp to another screen that has the person to talk to. I hope some it this is helpful.
