I've been waiting till a civilized hour to call him. I'm going to dial as soon as I finish typing this. I've spoken to him about the chat server outages, and it appears that the chat server is either being hacked, or something's wrong with the version we are running.

Either way...the problems will be fixed, eventually...and I'm setting my server back up soon. I'm trying to get one of my ancient linux boxes to connect to my network, just to run servers. I'm also looking at buying a new linux box specifically to run a second, linked chat server for agn.

He said he would call War Lord, since he didn't know how to re-boot the chat server. I'm thinking that he should be taught, since this is twice he's answered when I called about the server being down. :rolleyes:

heh... being the thread author of this freaked me out!. Still couldnt get through to WL, Zaph. That starchat.net server pisses me off.. i have to close the internet connection to the other two computers or i get banned, ill stop in for a while anyway.
