How to use cheats on zelda190?

how do you use cheats for zelda190? i've read the thing on the zelda classic website but its really not making too much sense to me right now. any help would be nice. thank you

Cheats are defined per quest. Most quest makes don't include cheats, or if they do, you ususally have to ask nicely or fufill a certain task first in the game.

oh well im just playing the one that comes with the download. i guess it would be quest 1

The quest you're playing would be the first quest. And no, there aren't any cheats, but try looking where Mottzilla is pointing you to..
