K, strong words, but in reality I'm just a tad anoyed that I tried downloading its software and it made Windows have to re-install. Now I have to spend time re-configuring everything, my bookmarks are in alphabetical order(I prefer it as I use the sites from most to least), and several other things.
To be short, I'm mad. I can't wait to see what else I need to reinstall or whatever

It's quite the queer little prog indeed.... If you want a new messaenger I suggest "Trillian" it's Mirc, AIM, MSN, and ICQ all in one neat skinable package =)

ICQ was the best until 2000a screwed it up royally. It ran fine on my P133 with 16MB RAM until 2000a.

www.trillian.cc is where you will find Trillian.

Trillian is a resource hog. Use GAIM.
http://gaim.sourceforge.net/
The Win32 Bulid is in alpha, and runs very sweetly for me so far.

You forgot Yahoo.
ALEX- I have had little to no problems with Trillian. AIM drained MUCH more resources than Trillian, though the IRC function is slow.

Correction: ICQ was the best until AOL came and screwed it up royally! They destroy everything they touch. Just look at Netscape!

Yeah, the last good ICQ was 98b. But, I must say I liked how AOL added IRC style messaging (like AIM's messaging) cause getting a different "note" everytime you got a message was kind of a pain.
I tell you though, ICQ Lite looks kinda nice if it does what it's supposed to. I might have to try it out on my Windows 98 laptop.

How on Earth did it make you reinstall windows? Methinks something else may have been wrong with your system.
