It already works with 1.92. Just download that.

He might not want to, because some people think it is too buggy. But yeah, just download the 1.92 Beta.

BTW Zaggarum, PM box is full. ;p

tried that but none of the betas for 1.92 work on my computer. And when it does work it is too slow and no matter what i do it sill stays slow. so i'll just wait for the full release. thanks anyways.

ummm.... I hate to say this Goku but if the betas don't run fast enough on your computer then odds are very good that the final release won't either. In fact it'll probably run even slower because later betas have more features.

Let me guess: You have a Pentium I, right? It may be a good idea to upgrade (even the cheapest PCs nowadays have far more power than the machine you're using now), or use a friend's PC or something like that. Also you could get a used PC (Pentium II or higher) to run ZC on. A PII costs under three hundred dollars usually.

As my dad tells me all the time, don't upgrade anything (computer, cell phone plan, anything for that matter) until you actually need it. Until then you're just paying for stuff you don't use.

I think the next public release should run full speed on most computers. I've tried it on a 233 Mhz with 32MB RAM, and it always ran full speed, and that computer was unable to run beta 163.

Since when did you try the next public release Vel?

I used my time machine to go to the year 2004 when the next public beta is released and I played it there...... actually I meant that the private betas run full speed.

I dont get it, how come we gotta wait till 2004 for the next public version if the beta version works great?

Im tired of that super slow motion!!! I was told it runs slow because of something called "de-bug mode"...what is that and can I turn it off?

I was just kidding about 2004, I have no idea when the next version will be out. The private betas are buggy and public versions aren't released until there is a version that doesn't have much bugs.

179 is alot faster than 163. I think the next public release should run full speed on most computers. It runs full speed on a 233 Mhz with 32 MB of RAM for me.

Yet we keep saying the same thing over and over... But thanks for the report, VEL. It's good to know that I don't have to upgrade my PII 300 MHZ 256 MBram anytime soon. :)

YES YES YES!!!! I cant barely run 163 on my 200 computer.... And I thought 179 was a LOT slower.... So I was worried about that.
