I was checking a Hotmail account to get rid of the damn message that pops up when you open MSN Messenger saying you have 2 new messages. I found this funny.

I forwarded both to [email protected], the place to report spam.

I'm using the free web based email so I can have MSN, so I guess so.

Hotmail does suck ass though.
Try ZC.coms email service... worked well for me for a while.

I've got a couple of email adresses.

ichbindaswalross @hotmail,com (just for MSN)
D @herzeleid,net (Rammstein fansite)
joesomebody @zapo,net (12mb free storage)
dieter_chen @yahoo,com (do you Yahoo, bitch?)
tobiasdertypo @aol,com (isp)

It's convenient if you have to register at some site that will send you tons of junk mail.

Edit: Replaced all the dots with commas and added spaces.

Hotmail really blows. >_< Give fastmail.fm a try. That's got to be THE best free web-based email I've ever had! And I've tried all of them.

Posting your email in plain sight on a web site, like you just did, is the best way to get spam. Sometimes I wonder if there aren't programs that comb the internet for email addresses within forums and newsgroups and compile lists from the data they get.

You sure it wasnt from one of your friends who just named themselves " Hotmail Staff" ???

Yes, I'm sure. And I don't really care about getting spam at some of them; I just "Notify AOL" when I get spam on that.

Maybe when you were signing up, you forgot to uncheckmark one of those, "Send me special offers on blahblahlbalh" radio boxes.

It happens all the time with me. :uhoh:

I thought it was pretty funny when I got a spam message from "Hotmail.Member.Services". They thought they were being tricky, but I saw through that reall quick. I don't understand when I send myself spam messages. Now why would I want to do that?

i found a great place for free internet email

go to http://www.tshirthell.com and click on the link for
"email hell"

you can create your personalized id and choose from a list of
"interesting" domain names... mine is
[email protected]
i use it for all those darn web sites that require an valid
e mail address before they will let you in.

BTW... those who are sensitive to foul language (cursing)
shouldnt visit either site mentioned in this message.

They exist, and they are responsible for turning my zeldaclassic.com e-mail into a huge, steaming pile of Klez-infected shit (as a result of it being visible on zeldaclassic.com, and to a lesser extent my personal webpages).

I'd advise you to get netscape.net email service as it's free and works well.
