View Full Version : Eyeballs malfunction on layers

I wanted to create fire shooting eyeball combos by putting a statue on layer 0 and an eyeball combo on a layer, but it didn't work because the Eyeball A doesn't work right on layers. It never points at Link, and it will not point South no matter what you do. Here's two images.

Layer 0, functioning correctly. Just showing you this as a comparison.

I'm using 163, I haven't tried it in a later beta, as I haven't hear anything about it. It'd be nice if this was fixed, because if somebody wants to place a sprite on a layer and have it always face you (as some sprites do in other Zelda games), it won't work right. :shrug:

It works fine..I'm using plith's Descendant set which has People (Eyeball combos) on different layers, and they face me fine. So yeah, I guess it's been fixed. :p

What version of ZC are you using, KJAZZ?

Note two things:
1. The guys can only face 4 different directions, so you can't tell very well what's going on.
2. If you're looking at it in ZQuest, it works fine in ZQuest, and malfunctions in the game.

I'm using Beta 179, the newest (as of this post) Beta. And I've tried it in ZC, I have to test the quest out..but yes, only in four directions, I forgot about that. But in your screenshot, some of them only face Up/Down/Left/Right, so, well, I dunno. I'll try it again later..;p
