my brother and i have been having fun with vice city. but he likes to turn on the cheats and go nuts but... it seems if you put in too many a message pops up that says "You have put in too many cheat codes an you may have trouble saving your game." we saved the game and it was fine. but when we tryed to load it... it froze up. now we can only play from the beginning and we haven't gotten around to returning it to gamestop.

My brother uses a bunch of cheats, but he says only a select few cheats will actaully freeze up your game.

no. my brother uses ALL OF THE CHEATS! inifite ammo, all guns, all cars, invincibility, you name it!

Gah... I hate people like that. It's not a game then. It's just a different version of playing God in different games. People like that just have a chronic fear of death and/or failure.

Rockstar warned that using cheats in GTA3 could mess up your save, but I think it was a bluff. But I guess it's not in Vice.

If you save in Vice City after cheats were used, it's impossible to either 100% the game, or get a good ending, I don't remember which.

I cheat all the time on GTA3. I don't really care about beating the game, I just like driving around and doing missions every now and then.

Why you guys keep bashing cheaters? If a person wants to play a game that way, they can. Just because YOU dont play it the same way doesn't mean your better then them.

It's simple, don't save when you're using cheats or save on a different slot or card. Cheating in GTA3 and saving would save the cheats, which can mess up the save files, but it wasn't as common as in VC.

I like using cheats when you beat a game or when you are so stuck on a level that its not fun anymore. They keep the game alive longer.
