Look, not everybody at AGN celebrates Thanksgiving, and some of us celebrate it a month early. This thread is for people who fall under this catagory. Post here if today means nothing to you, or if you have had your turkey fix allready.

Since I'm a Canadian, I had mine last month on the second sunday of October. It also happened to be my mom's birthday so it worked out well.

I got kinda sick of thanksgiving today, and since I can drive, I took my dad's car and left early.

Or perhaps because of the diversity of AGN, some members either don't celebrate it, or celebrate it a month earlier in October, like Canadians which I just happen to be.

I was merely bringing up the point that not every AGNer is a red-blooded American who celebrates it when they do.

Man I could go for some stuffing right now...

I don't celebrate Thanksgiving. I may have a lot to be thankful for, but I have a lot to be pissed off for too, so the day is balanced out like normal days.:)

Like most holydays, this one has just become another day for me.
The commercialization has ruined it, and I have not much to do with it.

Um, Canadians celebrate it too, just on a different day.

I celebrated Thanksgiving on the 28th and I ate alot of Turkey and Crannberry Sauce and I ate some corn, peas, stuffing, and anything else that I can think of so I guess you can say that I like Thanksgiving but the holiday that I like the best is Christmas.

Thanksgiving commercialized? Maybe you hibernate in winter, but Christmas is the most commercialized holiday ever and it makes it suck. Santa Claus is an abomination before god, and all the holiday traditions except the manger scene have pagan roots. Thanksgiving you can be with family and friends, or go to your grandparents or mother-in-law, stuff your face and not have to do the dishes except if you wish to make a nice gesture and earn favor.

I am really fed up with the comercialization of Christmas. And I believe last year companys lost alot of money doing it. Heres hoping its in decline.

I don't mean to sound evil, but thank goodness for 9/11. It tore through the commercialism and got to the heart of what Christmas is all about.

I just wish that people would care even without a piece of their nation being destroyed.
