Um, yeah, my real name's Alan. Call me what you want.

I just finished Up in a Heaval by Piers Anthony. It's the nth novel in the Xanth series, which takes place in Xanth, which on a map looks mysteriously like Florida. The Xanth books are humorous fantasy novels, which include heavy usage of puns and adult-ish humor and 'situations'.

In Up in a Heaval, Demon Xanth, Demon Jupitar, and Demon Fornax are initiating another wager. They agree that if D. Jupitar and D. Xanth win, they get part of D. Fornax's domain. But if D. Fornax wins, he/she gets (the land of) Xanth! D. J & D. X's emulation (the novel's main character) will attempt to complete a specific task, while D. F's representative hinders him. If the emulation figures out what's happening before he completes the task, D. Fornax wins.

Now go read the book!:pimp: But I STRONGLY recommend that if you've never read a Xanth novel, you start from the beginning and read A Spell for Chameleon. It is a series, after all.

Oh, Piers Anthony's website is located at hipiers.com (http://www.hipiers.com).
