I noticed a few days ago that I was coming down with something bad, like the flu only worse. Made an emergency doctor's appointment after the other night when I woke up coughing, and could hardly breathe... The diagnosis?

I have known several people with walking pneumonia, and they all got over it. It is better than a pneumonia that keeps you down.

Yeah, pneumonia sucks, I've had it many times. It almost killed me once too, causing me to be hospitalized for a couple of weeks when I was 9.

Lately I've been feeling really really shitty in the way that it seems gravity is bearing down on me, my muscles hurt as though they've been exercised yet they also feel at the same time that they haven't been used for awhile(as if one had been sitting in the same position for a long time). I also seem to be having a serious shortness of breath too.

I am however afraid to go to the doctors about it because I have no health insurance and I don't wanna end up being hospitalized at which point the family is financially screwed.
