My connection at home is dead. Thanks comcast!

I have no idea how long it's gunna be dead for, so I can only post on weekdays because that's when I can access the school computers. Chances are, my fans and friends, there'll be no ZC: Warrior's Rise updates for who knows how long.

Sounds like a good time to seek out a new internet provider...

Seriously.. Try to go local, if you can. They usually have better CS than a national serivce.

Whatever you do, don't get AOL. I'd rather try to make modem tones with my voice than use AOL.

I have Optimum Online and there the best. Try looking into DSL seeing as Comcast caps there connection anyway.

From what many people say Comcast is the worst. Some friends of mine can only use Comcast because there are no other providers out there.

Just get DSL. it may cost much more...but its worth it. I mean think of the speed.
"1 hour with 28k" im like 3.5 seconds with dsl.

I've had Comcast for over a year with no major problems. Where do you live, Aegis? Is Comcast new to your area?

Well i live in the Philly Area and comcast has a monopoly in my apartment complex. We already have a router and a cable modem, and the bill for the installation (some dumb girl took 10 minutes to connect some wire) and the first two months is $320 (our monthly bill is supposed to be like $45)
What a rip off, they get u at every turn.

Maybe they are. I've had problems when they were new to my area, but now it's like 0 hassle(and they kept my box open for long time! Wheeeeeeeeee!).:)

We are trying believe me. Alpha: it really seems to be affecting my house only. I haven't heard any other compliants around us. It's very strange.

It could be a strength-of-signal problem. My brother and I sorta had that problem... it didn't affect our speed too much and to be honest I don't notice an increase since it was fixed. However, my co-worker also had that problem... and later found out it was due to something like 20 splitters (!) weakening the signal so much it was barely detectable.
