Who really likes it? And what in the world makes it so interesting? My rommy is obsessed!!! And I don't understand why, it annoys the hell out of me.:confuse2:

Its the sensationalism. Some people enjoy it because it is extreme, dumb, and there's fighting and beer.

wrestling is pretty much a soap opera for guys. i watch every now and then, but not often. i liked it better back when it was on saturday afternoons

I used to like it. Now, it's gotten really fucking old. Same shit every week, just different characters. I still watch it from time to time, but it's just not good anymore.

Wrestling is irresitable to me. I love it, weither they're in a dry spell (like right now) or not. Boxing is cool, not doubt in that. But some people just perfer fighting with a purpose, which is what the storylines add. Sure, some of the storylines are corny, but i guess that adds a comedic presance to it. Only wrestling can provide hot women, cheap comedy, and violence all at once. Wrestling is a product. Not a sport and should not be thought of one. Everyone tries to call Wrestling fake and it just isnt right. Wrestling is a staged event with the intention of providing maxium entertainment. It doesnt claim to be a sport, its sports entertainment. Calling it fake would be unfair to what the product was meant to provide. Would you call a production of "Hamlet" fake? Of course not. It never claimed to be real, its a production. Thats how people should think of wrestling.
Wrestling is popular mainly for the vast vareity of entertainment it provides. Some people like it, some dont. Either way, its going to be here for a long time to come. So if you dont like, ignore it. But give it a chance at least first.

I used to watch Wrestling with a friend of mine, all the time, a couple of years ago. Then he moved away, and I just kinda... stopped watching. I don't watch very much tv at all anymore :p

I still watch wrestling. But its been so shitty lately I don't understand why. Used to be I would make sure I wouldn't miss a show. Now the only time I will watch a wrestling show is if I happen to be home.
