A fun test at anoter stie who will remain nameless. HTML in boards is fun! But also could cause a lot of havoc, I see. Still, if i ever make forums, I would concider leaving it on.

For a vBulletin like this, you could only safely turn on HTML if you trusted everyone on the board not to abuse it. (It's easy to wreak havoc with HTML tags; think what would happen if you were allowed to insert </HTML> into your post.) This would be roughly the equivalent of everyone on the board being a moderator.

Note that this would mean that you would have to deny, or at least moderate, new memberships; otherwise, new, untrusted members could join. So AGN won't be turning on HTML anytime soon.
