shaded tiles?

I was making a tileset to make it look shaded and with better graphics but still based on the same colours and tiles of the original tileset but it went a bit funny so I gave up. I was wondering if anyone else had attempted this if so please send me them.

Why is the tread called shaded tiles? I have made a tile set, but my website ain't workin'. Maybe later on this month :D

Well a simple way is to add more colors to your pallettes. Make different shades of the colors. That should help.

I remember when i was a TOTAL newbie to ZC. I thought you couldn't copy & paste colors on your palletes. That set me back for a loooooong while.:banghead:
