I have easy cd creator 5 and well, I never got this problem and I burned over 50 music cds.

Have you tried re-installing it? (This means go to program, add/remove programs, remove it from there, and then re-installing it. Or use UNINSTAL.)

Maybe you cracked it and it fucked, Dunno man...

Depending on what you are doing whether it's finalized or not may not matter. You could always switch to a better program like Nero.

I also highly suggest you switch to Nero. My first burner came with EZcd and I had nothing but trouble, but I have yet to burn a single bad cd with Nero that wasn't my own fault.

OR
you can purchase (or hack) a different cd creator
program. There is more than one you know.

I use CD Creator 4. No problems to report other than a few bad CDs going in; I considered a letter to the CD manufacturer at the time...

Recently, just burned four for my sister. No problems. :D

For some reason I've found that name brand cd's that come in jewel cases tend to go bad more often than no-name brand cd's in spindles.

I've gone through two 50-packs of no-name brand cd-r's and not had one of them go bad. However, I've had plenty of Memorex, Samsung, and Sony cd-r's go bad.

Quite odd, don'tcha think?

I watched 4 or 5 Maxell CDs go messy on me. I swore revenge. I never sought it.

I used to have EZ cd creator. Reat program, a heck of a lot better thatn Roxio. I donno what your problem is, i would get another copy of the software. Sometime, if the computer moves too much or the disc is scratched, it can't finalize.

Roxio is the company that owns EZ cd creator, it's not a program.

my EZ CD creator IS made by Roxio and it worked good on my old comp. I am thinking that my comp was in a bad mood or in dire need of a restart!
