I was making this nice skin for *somebody's* forums. It was gonna have a gundam theme and rock! I was sooo close to finishing, but *someone* had to go upgrade. Now he can't use it. I feel underapreciated. I wanna show of the skin, as these is nothing else to do with it. I have a sample hosted at angelfire. The only thing i have to do is shrink those icon's, and it's set.

Sorry this will be harsh but....

1st, the desing is average , the icons for new/no new posts are too big

2nd, what a lame way to advertise a forum.

Hey, i'm not advertising, i'm wollowing in self pity. I was afraid someone would say this. I'm gonna edit out the foums name. And i'm working on those icons, i'm just lazy.

I would delete it and start from scratch, possibly with colors that actually go together.

Yeah, that a reoccuring problem i have. I can't find colors that will work with the picture and the theme. I wanna do a white, red, yellow, blue thing, but it dosen't work out, so I stuck with black/red. Before it was black/yellow.

it is a very hard thing to get colors that match, but check other gundam sites to see their color scheme. that way you go into your project with a good idea.

Ah yes, the age old amateur problem of using 100% RGB values... You need to take some of the softer shades out of your main banner and use those colors to compliment the whole thing. Wanna see what I mean? Go look at my themes here at AGN... Star Wars and LOTR... :thumbsup:
