View Full Version : CD Burner Help , Needed.

Jesus christ this pissis me off.

When I burn audio CD, The first time I could choose , I had the option to rip 2x to 40x. Since I formated and re-installed windows, the cd burner wont let me rip below 8x. I wanna rip using 4x , but cant. Even 2x..

The Cd Burner installed himself with no applications, and its a LG CD Re-Writer *superlink , buffer underrun prevention technology* 40x-12x-40x

Edit: Nevermind, im sorry about this. Iv just read below the box, and im pissed off :(

Write Speed: 8,12,16,24,32,40
ReWrite speed: 4,10,12
Read Dpeed : Max 40D

Try Easy CD Creator, version 4.0. I can write lower speeds with it. :)

Hehe, thats program was included with my CD Burner, its half complete. Some features where turned off, but half are still on, and its not a trial, its unlimited. But, if I want full, I must upgrate, and I think its something around 30usd.
That program is very good, its easy to use :P
Also, its my cd burner who cannot write below 8x , I guess I was Re-Writting a cd when my chance to choose 4x appeard.
Anyway I dint pay a lot for it and it was brand new, why am I complaining? ;p

Get nero and I'll give you a serial #. Nero is pretty good for writing audio cds.

Yes, it is you burner that is limiting what speed you can use to burn. 2x is as low as mine will go. I can choose 1x in various apps, but you can judge by the burn time that it's actually going at 2x.

40x WOW!!

mine is a 2xDVD burner and 8X Cd-rw

i like mine though!

I heard that if you burn at fast speeds the quality gets degraded! Burning a 40x MAN it must miss the CD completely! LOL

If you get a half-way decent burner you don't need to worry about the burn quality.

I never tried at 40x... All I know is that it would take .. less time..

By burner is decent, it was made 2 months ago :o

My friends alwasy burn at 40X and it seems to work fine... And its fast as well!! :D:D
