Zethar-II over at the IGN boards has translated, with many thanks, several interviews and other things in the past, other translations including the A Link to the Past Sound and Drama track from Zelda Sound and Drama!

Listen to a Real Player stream of the Sound and Drama track while you read the translation. Its at the bottom of the page marked 'drama'. This is a prologue to A Link to the Past.

No, this is from a LTTP soundtrack released in Japan.. unless you are worried about LTTP spoilers (in which case, you are crazy), you are fine :D
