Man, I understand Gabe's fascination with the cardboard tube completely. Rolls of wrapping paper provided excellent cardboard tubes, as did finding them in the trash. My brother and I would beat each other senseless with them and have sword fights.

Probably until he breaks it after hitting Tycho in the back of his head. Those things start to get fragile after mere minutes of abuse.

the fun part is getting two of them, asing cardbord to make armor, and haveing shopping cart jousting matches. a couple of my friends did that. it was one of the funniest things i have ever seen

Just put duct tape all around the tube and it lasts longer. :) Man Gabe and Tycho are the best.

My father has those carboard roller tubies with a seal on each end for his site development plans. They are much more sturdy than an ordinary tube, and I find them quite useful for beating my siblings senseless.

I understand his fascination with tubes.
