You know how when you wake up after a nap, you have bad breath and crusties in your eyes? Trigger Enemies are doing that to you.

.......

Trigger enemies do nothing. They don't appear, they don't hurt you, and they're essentially invincible. They can only be killed if the "boss" (all enemies in a room marked as a boss room) is killed on the same level and the room containing the trigger enemy is marked as a boss room as well. You don't see them die, and you can use them with the Enemies->Secret screen flag to make remote triggering of events.

Which is all just an extended version of what C-Dawg said.

Let? Into? I'm not quite sure what sort of incredulous remark you're making here.

ohh... that was a typo. I meant to say "who" let this guy into the post? Hey sorry about that.

Actually, I'm pretty sure you meant - Who lets this guy post?

Anyway, plith summed it up rather well. Trigger enemies are quite useful little things.

:odd: What? With that sword being brandished wherever you go? That's rich..

Always remember that there can only be 1 "event" per Dmap, or so I'm told.

Am I wrong? I've only successfully done 1 event, but I had to scrap it because it made absolutely no sense to the quest.

You're only slightly wrong. You can only have 1 "event" per level number, which can apply to more than one DMap.
