i didnt know what forum to put this in so i thought that this would be the best.

When i try to open zelda-w.exe it brings up this error message under the Details>> button

i doubt that that will help anyone fix my problem.
can anyone help me?!? ZCQ works fine though.

Sigh... I know we are both newcomers, so I go easy on you. It is good to check all the forum's threads. I directed another guy to a thread yesterday. Its call Zelda classic 1.92 beta 163 problem. Sorry about the harshness of the post. :shrug:

That looks like a Win9x style GPF :P. If you have a Soundblaster compitable card, try using the DOS version (make sure any DOS drivers you need are loaded).

Hey! I can help too you know! VEL posted some stuff under this the thread I directed Death Link to. Any don't worry, I guess listen to the thread abouve this one. The Dos one is a lot easier to setup.

What version of Windows are you using and how much RAM do you have? You should also try the DOS version it runs better on some computers and I've heard that some people can only run the DOS version (windows won't work for them). You could also try redownloading ZC and reinstalling it, some people say that worked for them.

it worked for me awhile ago! neither ZQ or ZC would work for me then i figured out that directX 3d wasnt turned on! im running on win98. iv tried reinstalling it, i will try the dos vir. tho, see if that works!

No problem even though I more likely did nothing...
