I have had something weird happen in my dungeons. When i make an enemy holding a key and you have more than one enemy in the room, when you go into the quest and go into the dungeon, kill the enemy with the key, the key passes on to the next enemy! I like that..

What happens is that the item you set for an enemy to carry is carried by the first enemy on the list. When you kill the first enemy on the list, then go out and re-enter the room, the enemy that was second on the list becomes the first enemy on the list.

Zelda 1 it'self is programmed like that too I think.

I never noticed that before... When you think about it, the monsters probably wouldn't leave something lying around that would eventually lead to killing their master. So, in a way, it makes sense.

It doesn't sound like a bug. He says that if you kill a Blue Wizzrobe, who is first enemy and you leave, the second enemy, which is a Zol will have the key. This is how the NES edition worked. It is pretty interesting to find out.
