I was wondering why people make new accounts? I don't see the point in it all. I have tis account and plan on using it untill i die. Why change? It's confusing to oldbies as i think a newbie has joined.

Because people grow tired of an old name or want to change it, but aren't allowed.

Aren't oldbies people who have been here for quite a long time?

Yeah, oldbies are people who've been here a really long time. Anyone who joined in 2000 or the first quarter of 2001 are who I consider oldbies.

Yeah, your just a little Midbie! HAHAHA I laugh at your face! Why? Cause Im the almighty.... other Midbie!

Anyways, some boards you can some you cant. I think with some regulations it could work. For instance, you can only do it once every 30 days and for the 30 days after it says who you previously were at the bottom of your sig.

What with the importance of post-count these days I didn't think anyone in their right mind would forfeit their posts because they want a different name.

technically, i registered 02-10-2002, so i've been on a good year :blah:

Personally I dont think posts counts count at all. If a person posts inteligent non-spam posts then they are fine with me. And Ive been here since August 2001, that sounds weird saying it.

No... that would be if you'd joined 10-02-2001...

You've still got a quarter year left 'til you've been on a bad year (with all the board problems and such)...

Yay, Vegeta1215 considers me an Oldbie. I feel special. ;p

Also, some banned members TRY to make new accounts to evade the bans, but (usually) get caught..;) And no, you're not much of an oldbie in my eyes either, you have to be here 2 years or approaching your two year mark..:p

My story is a weird one. I found Zelda Classic and therefore AGN right before Phantom Menace gave up, but never registered until much later, and even then don't post very often.
*shrug.*

I've been here since april 2001... So, does that make me an oldbie? :p

I can guess what most of you think now... "Who the fuck is littlebuddy?", so I'll say this, "oldbie" doesn't lie in your postcount, or the day you registered, it's much more on how you stand out, and how much people see you. A recognized member, let's say... Well... Gerudo, DT, DC, for example, didn't check their join date, but they stand out, as in: I see them a lot, and can pick them out of the crowd, and in that way, I see them as "oldbies"... An oldbie is a well known member, rather than an old member...
Either that, or I'm an oldbie, which I don't consider myself... =p
