Hay point that finger somewhere else.
I don't know where it's been.
Eeewwwuu...is that a brown spot on the end of it?

That's so worthless anyway; any intelegent person would simply name the pics and they would never fall to that test.

You know, there are numerous programs that can get rid of many of these ads for you, if you just put forth the effort to seek them out.

I don't mind banner ads as long as they are reasonably SMALL. I hate large banners(like that one) and all pop-up ads.

Luckily I only have to deal with the banners now.

But that ad you posted reminds me. I am sick and tired of that sort of ad in particular, 'is there porn on you computer?' I get it in my email(2 times a day on average), I see banner ads all over the place, and I'm getting sick of it. I saw a cartoon the other day that describes my feelings perfectly(I'm hosting it myself to avoid the no image linking rule on its native site),

btw- I do this frequently lately: if the copyright holder of the above image happens to see this and does not like the fact that I posted it here, just let me know and it will be removed post haste.

But that disables all sorts of useful things.
Real pop-up blockers simply block one or two javascript functions, and get excellent results.

mine you add the offending pop-ups to a list. and if the pop-ups ever appear again, it instantly closes the window

Mine's called "Click the X" or, I'm feeling really frisky, I use a more complicated version known as "Alt-F4"

What's really funny is what happened to my roommate. I'm still trying to teach him that spyware is bad and usually free software that comes from a banner ad is spyware. He actually clicked on one of those banners, and it installed a program called PurityScan. The program would make 6 different popup windows appear about every 5 minutes! What's even worse, is it had virus-like behavior. We deleted the executable, but every time he rebooted it regenerated. I finally had to dig in his registry to delete all traces of it.

Worst part is, ad-aware doesn't detect this program at all. :(

Those spyware programs are horrible!
All the trouble to just make you hate their products more.
