I heard if you take Pop Tarts and stick them in a toaster and make it so the toaster doesn't pop up, the Pop Tarts will catch fire and flames will shoot 2-3 feet out of the top, providing entertainment at the cost of a mere toaster and two Pop Tarts. You should be able to get cheap toasters (6$ I think) at Wal-Mart or some other discount store like that.

it's true. frosted chocalate ones have the best flame(i don't know form expierence...basic chemistry. more sugar=hotter flames) there is a video somewhere on the net with that. dave barry talked about it in one of his books. and me and a friend plan to try to do it for a chem project:D

Poppycock. If you heat any Pop Tarts to the proper temperature, they will combust with a flame of SUCH MAGNITUDE IT SHALL ENGULF THE EARTH!

Yeah, we lost a toaster once that way. Thats why they have warnings on the boxes now.

good stuff. and any poptart will burn. the cocolates and frosted ones work better b/c there's more sugar to burn, resulting in a hotter and/or larger fire
