With Halloween nearly here and Christmas around the corner, should the holiday themes be an option on the theme list? Are they even still around after the moves / shutdowns / etc. ?

I would say not. First off, the only "holiday" that is on the list is Summertime. This is now autumn! Summer has ended last month. Many people should not celebrate a holiday/tradition a few days/months late *cough*Summertime*cough*.

It is not summertime for:

#1: It is cloudy out and the leaves are starting to fall off.

#2: The temperature is nowhere near summer (45 - 55° currently)

#3: Hockey has started this month (does not represent summer).

Those are my main reasons why summertime has ended.

actually in australia(where DT and goki are) summertiem is getting ready to begin.

holiday themes would be out of style after their holidays. i dont think many people would like it.

That is why we have a choice now. After Halloween I could change it back to One Ring or something, and then after Thanksgiving I could go and change it to Christmas. If you do not wish to, you do not have to.

Everyone loves Jack: The pumpkin king. because he's dead, and he can take off his head. And not a whole NBC skin, just a Halloween one.

Hmm... I sense something here. Okay, for those who have joined in the last year, the Christmas and Halloween themes were some of the first non-default themes we had. We didn't used to have selectable themes, everyone had the default. During October it would switch to Halloween and in December it would switch to Christmas.
