Games will NEVER EVER be as good as they was on the NES/Sega mark III time! NEVER! Do you think so?

I agree that SNES era is #1. NES era is VERY close behind.

NES was definitely the golden age of gaming, as far as I'm concerned :D

Snes come first as I found most snes games more challenging, although, I found many NES games that broke that mark by far - That Ninja gaiden game was fun on the NES, similar to double dragon. But the Snes will always Rock further in my eyes.

Yeah, NES and SNES both rocked, but I find that more of my favorite games were on the SNES.

Of course, I'd never live without either system.

SNES rules all. really, most of my favorite games came out on SNES, but NES has plenty of fun ones, if only my NES worked...

What?

I think that the SNES was the golden age of gaming, because developers were able to fit a much more complicated, good looking, good sounding game together, and there were a ton of great games, in an era that many games were very original. Nowadays, it seems like few developers are willing to take a chance.

SNES games were actualy beatable. Alot of old nintendo games were very hard to beat, especially since they didn't have save features. I like the SNES, because the games were bigger, more interesting, KEWLER, and had better graphics.

see, the SNES had the best games, see you couldn't sell on graphics alone, like new games, so you had to make new interesting games if you wanted to sell. but they could also be bigger and better looking/sounding.

The 16bit era was the best in my opinion. Think of all the great games on it. Brilliant!

I think the best games were the ones that were so very hard to beat on the NES - Milon's Secret Castle, Fester's Quest, FF1.. Games I have beaten on the original system, and those were incredible. As for SNES, it was the last great frontier, and had the greatest games. Then 3-D came along and games lost their edge and quality. The looked better, but the gameplay was never the same

ah, the good old days.....the nes and snes were turely the penical of 2d technology. then with all the new stuff like the x-box (i don't mean anything harsh aboot it, this is just an example) and GC. PS2 has its faults as well but they rely on a few things too much in order to sell their systems that ploiticians most often resort to in elections: mud-slinging. *DUM DUM DUM!*
