i haven't even started the job yet. hell i haven't applied but i've been told they'll take just aboot anyone. to tell the truth i don't want the job.....but i really need the money to help pay the bills. why does life doing these things? dad said i only needed to do it for aboot oe or two paychecks and then i could stop if i wanted to. a friend who worked there previously said i'd have a script to follow and that's aboot it. plus credintials for any sales i might make. :sweat: as if i'll make any.....

Hmm, MCI reps. don't follow a script, so it must not be MCI. I do at my somewhat related job here. Thing is, while I've often been called a telemarketer and have personally been told to fuck off a few times, I'm not a telemarketer; you place an order with MCI, we get you with verification here in Canada. You may even get to talk to me. ;) Of course, some reps. forward calls to us even if you say no, so don't hurt us if we end up calling you ourselves...:sweat:

NEway, mrz, I suggest leaving your mallet at home on the first day. That would get you nowhere. And you never know; you might actually like the job! It took me a little time, but I am kind of enjoying some of the things these idi...er, customers say to me. :D

Shouldn't be so bad man, you might get lots of people to bitch at you, but then you can use whatever they use against telemarketers at home! Don't fret too much, it IS money in your pocket and you dont' have to walk around or stand on your feet all day like most kids our age have to.

Actually, you should get a recorder with you every day, upload stuff to the net, and then sell it off on ebay, people are stupid these days, maybe you'll even get enough material to make a comedy. :tongue:
