Hey, check this out:
http://proth.bravepages.com/anicrodesapro/index.html

This program will take 32x32 images and convert them to Animal Crossing textures! Awesome! It does a damn fine job too. Check this out:

I made a ton of them tonight.. I'll have to put them up on my webpage later on..

Damn!!! Animal Crossing has only been out not even a month and it already has websites overflowing with trading and little kick ass programs like this. I think Nintendo was very wish to release AC here in the US. I know I'm glad they did :)

But wait, upon further inspection I notice that they are broken into 4 quadrants. How can I use that for wall paper or anything? I'd only be getting 1/4 of the image to use on my clothes and such, unless there's something I don't know.

It's not really 'broken' into four quadrants. It's like that in the game too. It's just there so you can tell where the middle is.

Nevermind. I just now realized that it is the grid "breaker" and that it isn't 4 pictures together. It was just the detail of the thumbnails look so good that I thought it was comprised of 4 textures. Forget I said anything.

btw, what do you use the textures for in the game? (sorry, I haven't played it yet)

You can use them on clothes, umbrellas (although this usually doesn't look great unless it's just a design), walls, floors, your door, and signposts that you can buy and just display anywhere.

Neat! You could make stuff to make your room just like your room in real world! And even make Zelda posters! :D Very cool

I prefer the simple bitmaps you can find at animalxing.com They have some nice designs too (I favor the "I'm with stupid" shirt design) They also have an umbrella template in their forum floating about.
