ugh. i'm not sure if this is against the rules or not. i'm running a rom store on irc chat.

admins- would i be allowed to do this in th #agn channel?

everyone- is this a good idea?

i don't mean to advertise anythnig but i just want some approval. (i didn't pm this because i wanted ideas and things from everyone)

It sounds pretty cool. It would give me a good reason to go into chat.
I don't think it's against the rules to just announce it.

I don't think it is gonna fly, and I really don' t think it is that good of an idea.

Roms are very easy to come by, I currently have over 900 NES roms and 100+ Snes.. Kazaa or Gtk-gnutella is all you need for roms.

Sorry dude, I just don't like the idea.

Roms Store? You mean your selling roms?

I hope not because no ones going to buy. Your better off going on Ebay.

Like gdorf said you can just get it off Kazaa or gnutella.

I don't think he is necisarily selling, but I still think IRC is a little inconvienent for Roms. *shrug*

Yes it's fine, because I do that as well. 3,000+ NES & Famicom Roms, 150 or so SNES/SFC, and a few GBA in #agn.

Technically, you can't advertise it here, masamune...so really I'm going to have to close this. Everyone should know though that the chat room has far fewer rules than the boards...I think that's all we need to say. ;)

it's possible to get into the chat using a windows 3.x computer and a 2400 baud modem. That excuse doesn't work. :Þ

i'm not "selling" roms. just making a file server with roms and calling it "the rom store" it's not much of a store yet need more roms...

it would be cool to use your trivia points to dl roms from the store. like 1 point a rom... but.... i'm too stupid to know how! ^_^

Wait I have always wondered. How old are you? You seem like a 11 year old, but also a 16 year old at the same time? What are trivia points? I don't go on AGN chat much, so I don't know what it is.

Roms in the chatroom is cool. Talking about roms in the chatroom on the boards isn't...
Sorry masamune, but I have to close this...as it does violate the no roms rule.
