would this be a trick played on me by my network firewall or is it really down... if it is so.. any ideas as to why?

Why are you using that server and not the one listed in the announcement? (Click on the announcement, and scroll down to the second one.)

because i had not read the anouncement.. i didnt see it. damn

EDIT - cannot connect to agserver.no-ip.com either... damn it

EDIT (2) - My bad, i didnt configure properly.. never mind.
