Are the boots working yet? I.E. do they protect vs. damage tiles? I need to know, any help would be appericated.

Magic-draining boots are probably still a bit buggy - haven't tested them in a while though.

The boots, hookshot, hammer, magic system, boss key, dins fire, long bow, ect, all work although some are only in the privite beta right now. Whatever you do, don't get rid of the boss key in your quest bit I suggest you start drawing a boss door.

Also, there's layering, somthing called a trigger enemy that can be used to make simple events. There are so much stuff it's not even funny.

Plus you can get 1/2 magic consumption like in LttP.

There isn't in the public beta (b163)...if JS says there's a working one in the private beta, though, I'd take his word for it. For the present you can use JS's events trick to make fairly convincing boss doors and chests...with careful pitwarp use, you can even make them open when you step up to them.

Your ideas did blow many people away. One person was blown in the wrong way. He got too deterred by the possibilities. I tried to hold onto him. Really I did, but he just kept walking. *sniff* I miss old john! poor boy. Got run over by a twister, he did! AAH! Never mind.

The boots have never given me trouble. (Although, they tend to run out of magic just on the last damage 4 tile.)

And I am -so- looking forward to that long bow! :D :D :D

I liked that theme. Yes, I, Did. Remember Magus' Theme? Mp3's for it scattered all over my 1000+ folder. Brilliant game, CT.
