Does anybody know of an browser that can show PHP without pictures? (for Windows 98)

I've been having trouble with a very slow internet connection, and I could browse the forums so much faster if my browser didn't bother with downloading all the picture files...

In Netscape 4 and IE and probably others there is an option to "turn off images".

If you are using IE, hit tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Multimedia.
Check or uncheck the things you want don't want.
Click apply, that should work.

You can use a text based browser like Links (not Lynx, Links is far better and the pun on the name is intended). Not sure if it's cross platform though...

Opera has a thing to suf the web with just text/images/cached images. Very handy.
