I got me a new computer yesterday...Im not kidding, here are the stats:


0 HD
1mb RAM
1 3"1/4 floppy [800k]
9" monochrome screen
68000 Processor

Its a Mac Plus :D

It cost me 5 dollars and 35 cents.... No keyboard and mouse yet but I'm going to getum from work....hehheh I cant wait to get this sucker up and running...

I need a system disk too...I saw another drive for 2 bucks im going to pick up so I can leave in the system disk inside one of the drives while using the other to run apps...

Wahoo....you have no idea how happy I am....

I have an Apple IIe in my attic.

....every now and then I run to the back of my attic and hold my palm pilot up next to it. Just to smile and appreciate it more. Then I try to put the Apple IIe in my pocket. And I appreciate it even more.

I'm not quite sure where you're going with that one Fatty. Are you being sarcastic or do you have an even slower computer online? (It is possible ya know)

At any rate, 68K Macs are fun to play with and they're a great peripherial to the Apple II line. I have a Mac LC II personaly and I can connect to the internet and even go to AGN Chat with MacIRC (not sure if it runs on a straight 68K, I think you need an '020 at least)
