Now it's official: I want this game more than any other gamecube title coming out. It looks soooooo sweet :D .

I know. I was worried that it wouldn't keep the Metroid spirit. Though I am still a bit nervous, IGN's comments and the overall gameplay itself according to them eases my fears quite a bit.

Don't worry, Metroid is in good hands :) .

looks like crap... metroid is supposed to be the old fashioned side scroller platform game. not this stupid neo FPS game...

But Masa a 2D game wouldn't show the full potential of the GC graphics, personally, if we only make games like the orignals, then games would suck. ;)

Indeed it looks really cool, and Is definitely a game that I would want to check out. But wouldn’t it be cool, if they did Prime, like the new contra. So it would keep that classic side scroller look, but would feel like a whole new experience.

I know people who don't like the new Metroid look. I didn't at first. But judging from what the gameplay will be like it looks like it will stay close to Metroid, despite the fact that it is 3D. Besides Masa, there's always Metroid Fusion ;) .
