LoZ: Fade to Black

[Fade to Black]

I've started a new game, LoZ: Fade to Black. I'm going to implement as much story as I can in it, and once I figure out how to do custom bosses, I'll have huge bosses in it too...maybe.

I'm not completely sure on the story yet, I'm just doing it as I go along. I have a one level demo ready, but unfortunately, I don't have anywhere to upload it at the moment. If someone wants to host it for me for a bit, that would be great.

It uses newfirst graphics...and eventually it will be tweaked enough to have conciderable differences from Warlock's original set. I'm actually making it so the difficulty is a little less difficult than my last full release quest, Triforce of Courage. I found ToC rather mild compared to some quests...second quest difficulty if you will...but I guess not after some complaints I've had about it being too hard. So I'm toning it down just a bit, but I'm not making it a walk in the park, trust me. ;)

I know I probably won't get a lot of response to this because I don't have screen shots or an actual product to see yet, but if someone could host my demo for me...maybe I can change that.

I host quests all the time. Takes about 3 days for homestead to open to where I can edit what I have in my dir, but I could host it for ya.

Also, a seasoned vet like yourself should be able to come up with a better quest title than that. :tongue: If I released LoZ: Teilyr, it could show that I have no imagination, which is the mark of a newbie. Nothing wrong with what you have, mind you, but I'm sure you'll come up with something else once you have more of a storyline.

Then again, Fade to Black sounds more like a LoZ name than Teilyr. It could be like everything in Hyrule is becoming evil and you gotta stop it before Ganon makes the whole place a dark world or something like that.

No doubt KoD. But, to use one's own name in a quest title? If you want to go on that kind of storyline... Well, let's think.

Off the top of my head, I'd reccomend paying a visit to NintendoLand's Zelda Fanfic archive. That's where I got an extended storyline, as well as a preliminary title for Deception. Just don't steal a story.. :tongue:

Thanks to Teilyr for the hosting. The demo will be up within the next couple of days. Yes, I know the pictures are fuzzy, but I'm working with paint here people! :)
