An ANSI quest?

Well, have you ever played ZZT? If you have, then you might catch my drift. You might also realize how much 'cool looking stuff' you can create with 256 charactors (or 'tiles') and 16 colors.

This would be quite an interesting theory to try and apply to Zelda Classic. Would anyone want to play a game with such graphics? They have their own...charm...in my opinion.

(For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, look up 'ZZT' or 'Megazeux' on www.the-underdogs.org )

Sounds interesting, I'd like to see it. The, uh, graphics shouldn't give you too much trouble!

...

Anyone else interested? I might actually start this once DN adds MOD support so I can add good music in comparison to MIDI...

I suppose I'd give it a try, at any rate. It'd be interesting. I've played Ancient Domains of Mystery, which is in the genre of ANSI-games.
