does anyone know when the new Grand Theft Auto will be out for the PS2? (Australian release) thanks! :D

And the release date has been set for october 29th here in the states... can't really help you on the Australlian release though, but thank your lucky stars you aren't in Japan... they won't even allow the game in the country =(

yeah, it gets pretty bad... they took the old GTA3 off the shelves here, and cut bits out of it, apparently it was 'unnacceptable'. I was exactly 2 hours late in buying it aswell :( i was really pissed off as you can imagine lol. Alot of the dates they give out are very unreliable too; The V8 Supercars game here was supposed to be released 3 months ago, but only just got released. I pre-booked MGS: sons of liberty and it had 6 date changes! bleh! :( thanks for your help! :D

If you want MGS2:S I would suggest an Xbox...

It comes out almost a full year before the other versions.

i dont like the Xbox - its the size of my car!..and i dont like green. ill allways stick with playstation anyway, i have ever since the first one came out (i was 8 or something.. jesus thats a long time ago!) :tongue:

I've heard that if you have the Austrailian version of GTA3, all you have to do to get the uneditted version is set your region as "USA" in the control panel. :shrug:

GTA3 PC can easily be set to uncensored mode, PS2 however would require a gameshark code.

and who needs an atari when you have a commadore 64? :tongue: i think i still have peices of that lying around here somewhere...
