We had way more than that (I think close to 5,000) before the conversion to vBulletin.
How many of those 5,000 or 1,800 members never post? Quite a few... sort the member list by post count and see for yourself just how many.

I thought we had a lot more than that.. SB must have purged some of the non-posters or oldbies that don't post anymore..

I just followed my own advice... we currently have 226 members with zero posts (12.56% of all members).

You're missing the point DL, we used to have over like a thousand people with less than ten posts. It was just that the latest switch and assorted purges got rid of them...

I think that some people think that to view the content, that you have to register. That is what I thought when I first got involved in message boards. That was like 4 years ago though. :) Maybe we should make a rule that if they don't post at least 5 posts a month, they would get a$$ raped by a dog.

I don't see a problem with leaving the non-posting members alone. After all, it does make our member base look bigger.
Unless of course some no-poster has the name you wanted when you registered... in that case, bummer dude.

You could have just thought of something to say, instead of wasting a post.

I wanted to be ganondorf, damnit.
Looks like we are nearing 2000... again

I was about to say "Ask an admin", but then I remembered that a newbie has the name :). Sorry.

It's just for this sort of reason that I picked a Japanese word for my username. Didn't have any trouble getting "inori" here. :kawaii:

Non-posters are better than flamers. Flamers fill the boards with crap. Like that one guy that kept making posts like "F**K Breaker"
