WHere is the exact spot that that image is from. I don't ever recall being in a location like that. If its not a beta shot or something like that then I want to know where it is.

I recall that shot being shown in the September 1995 issue of Nintendo Power, when NP first unveiled Super Mario RPG. Since I don't remember it being anywhere in the game(I own it and have played it quite a bit) I'd have to agree with Mak.

it might be that part in near the end of the game when you drop down to get to a spa/place or something? I can't remember it well, but maybe it was revamped for a GBA version...

The scenery is without a doubt Nimbus land, but that particular spot doesn't exist anywhere in it.

I would assume that is an early Nimbus Land, just infront of the castle. obviously they changed it before releasing the game. find someone skilled at hacking SNES roms, it may still be in there, along with other things they cut before releasing it.

Your right, I remember screenshots like that too. I went to go look through my issues to find it, but its the one issue I don't have, I lost it, its acutally Oct 1995 Vol. 77 with a Super Mario RPG preview (from what I got from the list of previous issue contents in a later issue). Its the issue with Yoshi's Island on the cover. (I looked through the Sept 1995 issue right away and couldn't find anything).

Nintendo.com probably would have had a online feature with screenshots too.

I was thinking from back when it was Nintendo Power Source and they covered Super Mario RPG, so the image traveled over the internet. Unless someone just scanned it from the magazine.
